Bachelor’s degree in a health related profession. 5 years direct work experience with standardized RAI assessments (RAI MDS 2.0 or RAI Home Care). Demonstrated experience in meeting clinical documentation standards – assessment and care planning. Experience using outputs of standardized assessments to inform care and quality improvement opportunities. 5 years’ experience in Continuing Care (HL, DSL or LTC). Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience as a RAI Zone Lead, RAI Educator, RAI Assessor, Case Manager or Care Manager. Experience in Health Informatics, Project Management, Adult Education, Quality Improvement, Auditing fields. Completion of CIHI RAI-2.0 and/or CIHI RAI-HC education. Successful completion of all applicable RAI Competency Evaluations within past 12 months. Expertise in own discipline and a broad knowledge of other disciplines and roles. Demonstrated pattern of professional and personal development. Excellent computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent oral and written communication skills and well-developed facilitation skills. Experience working independently within a large organization with a variety of staffing groups. Demonstrated abilities in conflict resolution and management.
Preferred Qualifications:Ability to search out and evaluate best clinical evidence-based practices in nursing and health care and evidence-based organizational improvement practices. Experience in the area of quality improvement. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and virtually, as a contributing member.
