Completion of diploma in Social Work or Child and Youth Care or completion of Bachelor's Degree in Psychology .
Additional Required Qualifications:Child & Youth Care Studies or Social Work Diploma with relevant experience considered. Where eligible, current registration with a corresponding professional college and association required. Previous experience in child and adolescent mental health is essential. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) required. Demonstrated knowledge of psychosocial and behavioral intervention strategies. Demonstrated knowledge of Family Centered Care and care planning. Focus on positives and strengths in children and adolescents, while promoting self-care management. Excellent communication skills required. Computer skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Child and Youth Care, or BA psychology preferred. Brain Story Certification Excellent working knowledge of Collaborative Problem Solving, Attachment Theory, and Trauma Informed Care. Non violent crisis intervention (CPI) certificate preferred.
