As a Psychometrist, you will provide services related to psychological assessment, working under the direction of the responsible psychologist(s). You will meet with patients and administer and score a variety of psychological tests and record behavioral observations. Your information and results are provided to effectively support the psychologist(s) responsible for interpreting assessment data and any related clinical decision making or recommendations. You may also provide support to psychologists in their research and or evaluation activities. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Completion of bachelor's degree in Psychology from an accredited university.
Additional Required Qualifications:Familiarity with Word, Excel and SPSS is essential. You should have strong communication and organization skills as well as a demonstrated ability to produce accurate, detail-oriented work.
Preferred Qualifications:Course work in Psychometrics and statistics is also recommended. Experience working with mental health clients or other vulnerable populations in addition to experience with administration of psychological instruments is highly desirable.
