Completion of bachelor's degree in Psychology from an accredited university.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or a related field, from an accredited university Two years’ experience as a Psychometrist and a minimum of four months experience in the specialty area of community based mental health Acquiring patient information through file review, and questionnaires Conduct behavioral observations in a variety of situations and documents in patient’s chart Write descriptive reports of behavioral observations Administer psychometric instruments, scores data and reports results to supervising psychologists Determine whether to initiate/continue client testing Scheduling client assessments Provide coordination and liaison with other related services such as regional sites and school districts Maintains inventory of psychological test materials Manage and record workload statistics Compile statistics and prepare related reports Experience in research methodology and data entry Word processing, spreadsheet, and database software skills required Experience in administration and scoring of psychological and neuropsychological tests Orientation and training of new staff and residents Provide clinical education in psychological testing and administration to psychology students and residents Development of research proposals Develop educational and orientation material Possession of valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is a requirement as travel is required within Calgary and area
