Completion of doctoral degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduation from an accredited PhD program in Clinical or Counseling Psychology required. Approved internship. Chartered or eligible for chartering in Alberta. Experience coordinating and facilitating therapeutic groups. Knowledge of clinical practice issues related to chronic pain and headache populations. Experience working with a multidisciplinary team. Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated skills in group facilitation. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience coordinating and facilitating therapeutic groups. Experience in clinical neurology. Experience in young adults with chronic pain.
