Required Qualifications:

Completion of doctoral degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Neuropsychologists: Successful completion of a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship program in Neuropsychology (consistent with the Houston Guidelines) specific to Adult and Young Adult Neuropsychology. Clinical Psychologists: Knowledge, skill and ability to provide psychodiagnostics, personality and cognitive assessments; individual and group psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities. Minimum of 3 years relevant mental health experience. Current Heart and Stroke Foundation (HSF) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge, skill and ability to treat substance related and addictive disorders are preferred. Qualified candidates with expertise and/or experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) work preferred. Linguistic diversity and proficiency in multiple languages considered an asset. Experience using electronic medical records (e.g., Connect Care) is an asset.
