Completion of doctoral degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working in a tertiary setting with a major emphasis in assessment and treatment of children, and youth with medical, developmental and mental health problems. Educational and/or other qualifications required to perform in the clinical area. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. In addition, the incumbent will possess a record of accomplishment in the following areas: Leadership experience related to service planning, coordination and evaluation. Demonstrated ability in coaching, mentoring and demonstrated collaborative working with operational leadership and practice leadership. Effective communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Connect Care trained. Completion of a 1-year clinical internship/residency program accredited by the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA).
