Completion of doctoral degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Psychology from an accredited university program is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience satisfactory to the Employer may be considered. Registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists is required. Internship from APA/CPA accredited pre-doctoral internship program preferred. A minimum of 5 years professional experience required, preferably in a rehabilitation setting. Demonstrated skills in both assessment and intervention, as well as the ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team, is also required.
