Required Qualifications:

Completion of doctoral degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Excellent communication, documentation skills and the ability to participate as an interdisciplinary team member required. Ability to frequently perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and the ability to frequently concentrate on precise detailed work is essential. Proficiency with comprehensive assessments as well as individual therapy. Demonstrated ability to manage a case list and work within tight timeframes. Working knowledge of Mental Health Act, DSM lV/V, FOIPP, and other legislative frameworks as needed. Minimum of five (5) years of recent related experience working with adult clientele in a clinical inpatient setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Mental health and addictions related experience.
