Completion of doctoral degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
Additional Required Qualifications:PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from a CPA or APA accredited program required. Completed predoctoral internship from a CPA or APA accredited program required. 1-2 years’ experience in conducting formal comprehensive psychological assessments with adults with a wide variety of mental health disorders and health problems required. 1-2 yrs experience in working with interdisciplinary outpatient mental health staff required. Ability to develop and maintain excellent interpersonal professional relationships with interdisciplinary team, students, and referral sources required. Above average communication skills. Ability to function independently and have effective self-management skills required. Word processing skills required. Position may include significant periods of time sitting.
