Completion of master's degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from an accredited university program. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
Additional Required Qualifications:BLS-C (Basic Rescuer) required. Enhanced security screening required. Fully registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists. Specialized expertise around assessment and therapy with concurrent disorders. Knowledge of the criminal justice system required. Understanding of correctional facilities and population served. Ability to balance numerous demands and complex issues with conflicting priorities. Works as a member of an inter-disciplinary team to effectively contribute to client care planning, delivery processes and enhancement of treatment effectiveness. Uses critical thinking skills and sound judgment within a secure environment.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of community resources and asset.
