Completion of master's degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from an accredited university program. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Psychological services, including risk assessment, formal assessment, individual therapy and development and facilitation of educational/psychoeducational and psychotherapy groups. Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and clinical skills (individual, family, assessment and group). Must be coupled with the ability to be self directed, highly motivated and work effectively within a team environment. Five years’ experience in working with multi-systemic complex families from a trauma informed perspective is required. A strong working relationship and ability to collaborate with the program Psychiatrists will be required for this position. Experience in team development and program development will be required for the start-up of the program.
Preferred Qualifications:Strong technological skills considered an asset regarding the use of computers, Microsoft Suite, and AHS internal software. Experience working in an inpatient program is considered an asset.
