Minimum Salary: $22.67

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Two years’ recent experience in Addictions and Mental Health setting. Non-violent crisis intervention training. Sound observation and strong verbal communication skills. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changes in daily schedule and patient acuity changes. Working knowledge of patient and family centered principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

Health Care Aide certificate and Mental Health First Aid certificate. Vitals Training. Working knowledge of the CoACT model of care. Working knowledge of trauma informed care.
