Completion of Grade 12. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Two years' recent experience in Addictions and Mental Health. Non-violent crisis intervention training. Sound observation and strong verbal communication skills. Positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in an Acute Psychiatry setting. English language proficiency required. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changes in daily schedule and patient needs. Working knowledge of patient and family centered care principles. Effective and hard worker with a focus on caring for and engaging with patients.
Preferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of this site and a passion for our clients and families Working knowledge of the CoACT model of care. Working knowledge of trauma informed care. Working knowledge of harm reduction model and the stages of change.
