Completion of diploma from an accredited Health Information Management Professional (HIMP) program. Active or eligible for registration with the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA). Or a Bachelor degree in HIM, Health Information Administration or other healthcare related business degree.
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of 3-5 years in a Health Informatics/HIM related role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity in a health care environment required. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
Preferred Qualifications:As Required.
