Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Active or eligible for appointment as a Community Peace Officer II by the Alberta Solicitor General.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must be able to travel between various sites/locations; and may require the use of a personal vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications:

PARE Testing preferred. Two years post-secondary education in Security, Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice preferred. Two years related security/law enforcement experience preferred. WHMIS training preferred. Certificate in CPI Non-violent Crisis Intervention an asset. Valid First Aid certificate preferred; valid BCLS - Level C certificate preferred. Pressure Point Control Tactic Certificate an asset.

COVID-19 Immunization: Proof of full immunization against COVID-19. Full immunization status is achieved when 14 days have passed after the second dose of a two-dose vaccine, or the first dose of a single-dose vaccine. See our Frequently Asked Questions for additional information.
