Completion of post-secondary degree in a health related field or equivalent. A minimum of an undergraduate degree in a health related field; Minimum of 3 years experience in health services planning, coordination, system design, governance or program management; Equivalencies of education and experience will be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrated pattern of professional and personal development. Demonstrated leadership skills. Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to work independently. Well-developed organizational and project management skills. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills. Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. Experienced in working collaboratively in an interprofessional environment with a broad spectrum of stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to address complex health issues and manage change in service delivery toward desired outcomes preferred. Knowledge and/or experience in delivery and coordination of population health programs.
Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in public health, health promotion, health administration or equivalent. Project management certification (such as PMP). Experience in program management, managing multiple programs/services simultaneously. Operational experience in public health. Experience working with multiple committees at a provincial level. Ability to use best practices and knowledge of business issues to improve products or services. Able to adapt easily to a changing environment.
