A minimum of Baccalaureate Degree; OR Minimum 5 year project management and/or management experience. Alberta Improvement Way certification (minimum yellow belt).
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience working in a hospital environment with a strong understanding of the surgical processes in an ambulatory setting. Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in quality improvement initiatives. Leadership skills demonstrated through decision making responsibilities, coaching, teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Strong communication skills with the ability to foster a climate of collaboration and build solid relationships with all stakeholders. Understanding/knowledge of models and tools for process improvement, quality improvement and change management. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Strong understanding of methods to influence the pediatric surgical journey specifically patient access. Self directed, able to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:Project Management Professional Designation and/or relevant education, skills and experience preferred.
