Required Qualifications:

Knowledge of project management principles, basic PMO tools and methodologies. 3 to 5 years of project coordinator/management experience. Working knowledge MS Project, MS Office suite and Visio. Working knowledge of AHS.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Able to maintain positive relationships as well be self-directed and effective in team environments as required. Basic knowledge of systems principles, as well as theories and concepts of the healthcare business. Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines are essential. Proven accountability in managing large, complex projects. Proven project management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues lists, manage project plans and escalate issues appropriately). Strong communication and follow-up skills. Proven issues management skills and experience. Actively and positively negotiate solutions in areas of conflict.

Preferred Qualifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. Experience planning major events involving diverse clinical and operational stakeholders is an asset. Experience leading medium sized project teams preferred. A bachelor’s degree plus working towards a project management designation preferred. Healthcare system knowledge and experience considered an asset.
