Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Education, Physiotherapy, or Speech-Language Pathology. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable college: Social Worker = Alberta College of Social Workers PT = Physiotherapy Alberta College and Association OT = Alberta College of Occupational Therapists Psychologist= College of Alberta Psychologists Nurse= College & Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta SLP= Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists & Audiologists(ACSLPA)

Additional Required Qualifications:

A minimum of three years of experience in the provision of DMC assessments within Addiction and Mental Health is required. Experience in ISFL and acute care will also be considered. Extensive training and experience in the area of DMC assessments. Minimum of three years providing supervision/mentorship and demonstrated clinical leadership in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment. Familiarity with provincial legislation regarding DMC assessments: AGTA, PDA, and POAA.
