A minimum of a High School Diploma is required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Knowledge of the short-term and long-term eligibility and application processes. Considerable knowledge and expertise in benefits administration and payroll calculations. General knowledge & awareness of Ability Management Program & processes. Competence with using human resources management system software. Competence in the use of Microsoft Office products. Considerable knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment. Knowledge of data entry and word-processing. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Excellent formatting, grammar and proofreading skills. Ability to complete duties with numerous interruptions. Ability to prioritize and balance workload. Ability to coordinate meetings. Ability to handle incoming phone calls in a courteous and effective manner. Ability to be an effective team member. Ability to be flexible and willing to learn new concepts. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Must have good command of the English language.
Preferred Qualifications:Two years of related experience in disability management, HR, payroll, benefits and/or other health care setting will be an asset. Post-Secondary education in Human Resources or Disability Management is preferred. Previous experience in a health care setting is an asset.
