Your Opportunity:

This Procurement Specialist III position within Acute Care Alberta (ACA) Contracting and Commissioning division and will be responsible and accountable for coordinating multi- source contracts and involved with competitive bidding processes for acute care services in accordance with ACA standards and practices, trade agreements and related legislation. As a Procurement Specialist III, you will demonstrate your excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff at various levels and external vendors as it relates to acute care services, procurement and contracts. In this role, you will prepare contract documents, assist with contract implementations, and manage contracts in compliance with ACA procurement processes, policies, and guidelines that create value and mitigate risk to ACA. You may also participate in all activities related to the competitive bidding process including RFx evaluations. Work at this level is differentiated from that of the Procurement Specialist II by the increased level of responsibility for contract development and management, the level of interaction with stakeholders and the development and execution of sourcing strategies. This position will be part of Acute Care Alberta effective April 1, 2025.
