Acute Care Alberta is a new provincial health agency in Alberta that provides active, short-term care services for patients who have a severe injury, illness, urgent medical condition, or are recovering from surgery. Delivering health care and overseeing health operations at hospitals and urgent care centres, ACA ensures that every Albertan receives the care they need as soon as they need it. As this is a provincial team, this position’s location is negotiable and may be eligible for a remote/hybrid work arrangement. This position will be part of Acute Care Alberta effective April 1, 2025. Description:
As a Procurement Specialist III, you will showcase your excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff and external vendors. You will develop new contracts and contract amendments that create value and mitigate risk to AHS. You will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to the competitive bidding process including RFx evaluations preparing contract documents, assisting with contract implementations and managing contracts within their assigned categories in compliance with AHS procurement processes, policies and guidelines.
