Completion of 3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate.
Additional Required Qualifications:Valid Province of Alberta or Interprovincial 3rd Class Engineer’s Certificate of Competency is required. Minimum of 1 – 3 years’ experience with progressive responsibilities in the operation and maintenance of a modern 1st Class pressure plant in a hospital setting is required. Good knowledge of DCS (i.e., Insight, ABB, etc.). ABSA Certification is required. Demonstrated operational and maintenance abilities, as well as proven mechanical aptitude. Must be in good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. No physical limitations with regards to sitting, bending, kneeling, crouching, etc. Good verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under own initiative with minimal direction is required.
