Required Qualifications:

Completion of 2nd Class Power Engineering Certificate.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Valid ABSA Power Engineer 2nd Class Certificate. Boiler and HVAC maintenance including controls technical competencies. Applicable health care facility Standards, Codes and Regulations. Supervision/Coordination of preventative/demand maintenance. Safety compliant. Water chemistry knowledge and testing skills related to boilers and associated systems. Minimum 2 years of experience related to operations and maintenance of Boilers and HVAC equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledgeable of the applicable Standards, Codes and Regulations associated to the operations and maintenance of Boilers and HVAC Equipment. Read and interpret engineering and vendor drawings including OEM manuals and blue prints. Knowledgeable of other related Health Care Facility Codes and Standards. Assist in coordinating/enforcing LOTO/Permitting system. Asset Management. Ordering FM&E materials for the facility. Run a variety of reports in Primavera. Conduct morning Safety Meetings.
