Students must be enrolled in their first- or second-year law school. Please note: This position is funded by the Canada Summer Jobs Grant which restricts eligibility to only applicants between the ages of 15 and 30 and either Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or persons to whom refugee protection have been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act at the time of hire.
Additional Required Qualifications:Strong research, analytical and writing skills. Well-developed organizational skills. Ability to adapt to conflicting and changing priorities. Ability to work independently, use initiative, take responsibility, be proactive and work in a complex environment. Strong communication and client service skills. Excellent team player. Ability to manage sensitive issues with confidence, tack and diplomacy. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities in an effective manner. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
