Required Qualifications:

Active or eligible for registration with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA). BCLS-HCP. Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) OR eligibility to write the BRPT exam within 1 year. One year experience within the past 5 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a tertiary pediatric critical care facility including experience managing ventilated patients.

Preferred Qualifications:

ACH Critical Care experience (PICU, NICU, IP, ED). Experience working in a pediatric sleep lab. One year experience within the past 5 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a tertiary pediatric critical care facility. Experience with a variety of critical care and home care ventilators as well as various ventilation modes. AIW or equivalent Quality improvement training. Member of a multidisciplinary committee within the past 2 years.
