Required Qualifications:

Active or eligible for registration with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Strong patient assessment and communication skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment. Proven ability to interact positively with staff, physicians and patients. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support- Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) required.

Preferred Qualifications:

5 years’ experience in a tertiary care hospital with recent pediatric experience. Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) an asset OR eligibility to write the BRPT exam within 1 year strongly preferred. Certified Respiratory Educator (CRE) an asset. Proficiency in a variety of computer software programs.
