Journeyperson Plumber and Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter certificates from Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.
Additional Required Qualifications:Grade 12 or equivalent, supplemented by related technical courses. Possession of a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel is required. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair as necessary. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to comprehend and utilize a computerized maintenance system. Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:Five years’ previous related Plumbing and Steamfitter experience in an industrial or institutional setting with a maintenance background is preferred. Preference given to those who possess a Gasfitter Ticket.
