A bachelor’s degree in planning or social sciences from a recognized institution or a certificate in architectural or interior design; an equivalent combination of comparable education and experience may be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD would be an asset; the ability to clearly communicate in written and verbal formats; A valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel both within the Edmonton area and to remote northern sites. Additional Required Qualifications:Strong oral, written and listening communication skills with the ability to guide and respond to user groups, project managers, furniture and equipment planners, leasing decisions, property managers, and leadership groups with the goal of bringing these groups to consensus; experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders; ability to plan, organize and manage short and long term plans and projects and deliver customer-focused results; analytical and conceptual problem-solving ability; ability to work under pressure, manage tight schedules and achieve project deadlines - time management and organizational skills; proven strong, positive team experience; and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:3-5 years’ experience in accommodation planning/space planning in a complex organization of significant size.
