Completion of master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum five years clinical experience, preferably community and ambulatory based (musculoskeletal and neurological) including both adult and pediatric populations is required. In-depth clinical knowledge and skills specific to physical therapy services in both the public and private sector is required. Demonstrated leadership and/or management, group facilitation, change management and communication skills required. Experience in practice reviews/audits required. This is a complex position requiring the ability to collaborate and liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Knowledge of, and proficiency in the use of, computer applications including basic word processing, email and internet access required. BCLS-HCP certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with contracts and contract management is considered an asset. Knowledge of Connect Care, Meditech and the HealthFirst Strata information system is considered an asset. HealthChange Methodology™ training would be an asset. Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP®) training considered an asset.
