Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Active Heart and Stroke Foundation Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) Authorizer Its Your move patient handling certification Minimum three (3) years within the last five (5) years in clinical experience in inpatient or outpatient acute care or rehabilitation setting Minimum five (5) years clinical experience in an inpatient or outpatient acute care or rehabilitation area Minimum two (2) years oncology and/or palliative experience Experience in the past twelve (12) months with referral triage and caseload management Experience in a leadership role for a rehabilitation team, including supervision and work direction for staff, program development, best practice implementation, and representing PT on committees Experience in program development and evaluation Established relationships with relevant programs in the North or Edmonton Zones Demonstrated ability to work within a patient-centered, interdisciplinary team of health care professionals This position is physically demanding and requires repetitive lifting, twisting and transferring of patients and or equipment. You may be required to sit for prolonged periods and perform keyboarding/ computer and headset use. Experience working with Therapy Assistants

Preferred Qualifications:

Complete Decongestive Therapy, CLT certification or certification in Lymphedema Management including experience performing Manual Lymphatic Drainage Professional development within the last 12 months related to rehabilitation oncology Effective self-management and time management skills paired with initiative Intermediate to advanced computer skills: Netcare, Microsoft Office and EMR (EPIC, ARIA) Experience using virtual technology to deliver patient care (phone, Zoom, Telehealth)
