Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
Additional Required Qualifications:Active Heart and Stroke Foundation Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date. Empathy and compassion: a deep understanding of the functional, cognitive and emotional needs of patients with cancer. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated effective time management and organization skills. Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office suites (Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Teams). New graduates of a recognized Physiotherapy program are encouraged to apply. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
Preferred Qualifications:AADL Authorizer. Minimum 1 year PT experience within the last 3 years in clinical environment (inpatient, outpatient, acute care or rehab setting). Oncology and/or palliative experience. Experience with EMR Epic/Connect care. Experience providing physical therapy in an interdisciplinary team, including therapy assistants. Experience providing combined decongestive therapy for lymphedema. Experience providing virtual care. Experience in front-line clinical leadership.
