Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.

Additional Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of experience working in at least one of the clinical areas assigned within the team and prior experience working in the rehabilitation of adults with a variety of conditions is required. Strong, effective leadership and organizational skills are required. Proficient to highly skilled problem-solving skills, including analytical thinking and conflict resolution/negotiation are required. Effective written and verbal, communication and computer skills are required. The successful incumbent will be capable of performing lifts, transfers, repositioning, and other physically demanding activities associated with this role. The assignment is subject to change based on operational requirements and may involve a combination of Team Leadership, clinical caseload, clinic coordination, etc. The program area may be subject to change based on operational needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

The Physiotherapist II provides clinical leadership and coordination and ensures day-to-day operations within their assigned team including staff from multiple disciplines. Leadership and participation are required in program planning & evaluation; resource allocation; staff development; selection, orientation, and evaluation. Connect Care experience is considered an asset.
