Completion of a recognized Physician Assistant Program. Demonstration of active registration as a PA registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. BCLS certification required. Experience in Connect Care and acute care hospital settings is preferred but not required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Demonstrate skills. Competency in women’s health history and physical examination. Excellent communication skills. Family centered, trauma-informed and collaborative approach to care. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to learn and perform basic technical procedures in women’s health (including but not limited to speculum exam, foley catheter insertion through cervix, POCUS).
