Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.
Additional Required Qualifications:In addition, the successful incumbent will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in the following: Demonstrated communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work in teams. Demonstrated computer or word processing skills. Committed to continual personal quality improvement and lifelong learning.
Preferred Qualifications:Prior hospital or Central Production Facility experience with a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to checking, Sterile compounding, TPN compounding, non-sterile compounding and BDM computer program preferred. AHS Checking Certified in the last 2 years preferred. 2 years + experience in the last 5 years with sterile compounding preferred. 1+ years experience in the last 5 years with sterile compound batching preferred.
