Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.
Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrated communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work in teams. Demonstrated computer or word processing skills. Committed to continual personal quality improvement and lifelong learning. Able to comply with ACP standards of practice for sterile and non-sterile compounding.
Preferred Qualifications:Local site knowledge or experience is an asset. Prior hospital experience with a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to automated dispensing cabinets and sterile compounding (preferred). Prior experience in retail pharmacy setting (preferred). Membership with a pharmacy professional organization is preferred.
