Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.
Additional Required Qualifications:Registration as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician with the Alberta College of Pharmacists is required. Pharmacy Technician Diploma from a recognized school is required. Demonstrated communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills is required. Demonstrated ability to communicate with other members of the healthcare team is required. Demonstrates leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to work in teams and independently. Demonstrated computer or word processing skills and experience with EPIC computer system is required. Committed to continual personal quality improvement and lifelong learning. Minimum 3 years hospital pharmacy experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Membership with a pharmacy professional advocacy organization is preferred. Sterile compounding experience is preferred.
