Required Qualifications:

Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.

Additional Required Qualifications:

In addition, the successful incumbent will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in the following: Demonstrated communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work in teams. Demonstrated computer or word processing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year+ experience in a hospital setting with a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to order entry, checking, sterile compounding (including hazardous products), and all aspects of drug distribution such as ward stock, narcotics and individual prescriptions. 1 year+ experience in an oncology setting. BDM computer program experience. 6 months+ experience in retail pharmacy setting. Membership with a pharmacy professional organization. Membership in CAPhO.
