Required to be a graduate of a recognized pharmacy technician school and maintain registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years experience in purchasing and inventory management is also required.
Preferred Qualifications:Completion of a program in a business related field (E.g. Business Management Diploma) and leadership experience in a hospital pharmacy environment. Proficiency in using at least one of the following pharmacy systems BDM, Cerner Millenium, VAX, Meditech as well as Oracle. Experience in purchasing and inventory management preferably in a health care setting.
