Required Qualifications:

Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Alberta College of Pharmacists.

Additional Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 3-5 years in a institutional pharmacy role ideally in an organization of significant size complexity and diversity. Leadership skills including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Effective communicator with strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Computer literacy including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, MS Teams, and SharePoint. Successful candidate must maintain security clearance from Correctional Services Division for duration of position.

Preferred Qualifications:

PROSCI Change Management Practitioner or equivalent. ACP Leadership Forum participant or equivalent. Previous project management experience. Previous experience providing support to teams spread over a large geographical distance. Recent/current volunteer experience related to pharmacy, such as with a pharmacy technician professional organization (e.g. PTSA, CAPT) or with a regulatory or certification body (e.g. ACP, NAPRA, PEBC).
