Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduate of a recognized pharmacy assistant program and/or a minimum of 1 year hospital experience or 2 years retail experience within the last five years. Required to lift up to 30 lbs. and occasionally 50 lb., push/pull carts, twisting, and repetitive bending. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods at a time. Pharmaceutical deliveries will be required to all areas within the hospitals and correction sites. Flexible availability of working including weekdays, evenings, and weekends is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of the Pharmacy Drug Formulary is an asset. Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience is preferred. Experience using the Epic (Connect Care) system is preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience handling narcotics. Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory management. PLC experience is preferred.
