Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Pharmacy terms and medication names. Graduate of a recognized pharmacy assistant program and/or Recent Retail or hospital pharmacy experience acceptable to the employer. Experience with Windows-based computer applications. Fluency in the English language (both written and verbal). Typing skills. Automated dispensing cabinet (ADC) recent experience preferred (within 6 Months). SHC Pharmacy experience and Inventory preferred (within 6 months). CII safe recent experience preferred (within 6 Months). Recent Knowledge of various office equipment, unit dose packaging equipment, and pharmaceutical compounding equipment preferred. Experience with word processing and pharmacy computer software preferred. Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Pharmacy Drug Formulary preferred. Demonstrates good communication, interpersonal and time management skills, organizational, problem-solving and decision-making ability. Displays professionalism, tact, courtesy, discretion and respects confidentiality. Must be accurate, reliable, precise, cooperative, self-motivated and demonstrate effective service attitude. Ability to work all rotations and shift hours.
