Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Working knowledge of Pharmacy terms and medication names. Graduate of a recognized pharmacy assistant program and/or Recent Retail or hospital pharmacy experience acceptable to the employer. Experience with Windows-based computer applications. Fluency in the English language (both written and verbal).Typing skills. Preferred Qualifications:Recent Knowledge of various office equipment, unit dose packaging equipment, and pharmaceutical compounding equipment preferred. Automated dispensing cabinet (ADC) recent experience preferred (within 6 Months).CII safe recent experience preferred (within 6 Months).Experience with word processing and pharmacy computer software preferred. Knowledge of Pharmacy Drug Formulary preferred.
