Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience with Windows-based computer applications required. Fluency in the English language (written and verbal). Typing and math skills required. Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills. Good organizational, problem-solving and decision-making ability. Displays professionalism, tact, courtesy, discretion, and respect. Must be accurate, reliable, precise, cooperative, self-motivated, and able to demonstrate effective service attitude. Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in a team environment. Excellent attendance record. Reliability and personal suitability must be demonstrated through your employment references. Routine light to moderate or heavy lifting, bending, pushing carts required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Local site knowledge or experience is an asset. Graduate of recognized pharmacy assistant program and/or recent retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred. Recent knowledge of various office equipment, unit dose packaging equipment, and pharmaceutical compounding equipment preferred. Knowledge of Pharmacy Drug Formulary preferred. Word processing and pharmacy computer software preferred.
