Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Good organizational, problem solving and decision-making ability. Must be accurate, reliable, precise, co-operative, able to demonstrate effective service attitude, and self-motivated. Must be able to work both independently and co-operatively in a team environment. Must be able to adapt to new technologies and changing workflow patterns. Familiarity with the operation of various office equipment, unit dose packaging equipment and pharmaceutical compounding equipment. Must be in good physical condition as some heavy lifting is involved.
Preferred Qualifications:Formal education from a pharmacy related program preferred. Familiarity with pharmaceutical products. Experience with Windows-based computer applications. Basic knowledge of purchasing, receiving and inventory control of pharmaceuticals. Must be fluent in the English language (written and verbal). Must be able to type (40 words per minute desired). Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
