Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Registered with the Alberta College of Pharmacy. Computer skills required. Able to access and proficiently use Microsoft Word and Excel. Proven organizational, time management and sound decision-making skills. Proven initiative and motivation. Able to safeguard AHS information as private and confidential, and adhere to AHS policies, procedures, goals and objectives. Solid listener who goes out of their way to explain and resolve any concerns presented, understanding that everybody has a different personality. Able to learn and receive constructive criticism. Demonstrable problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Able to work with people in a health care environment with compassion, accountability, respect, excellence, and safety. Able to provide a friendly approach to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity. Able to work effectively independently and within a team. Preferred Qualifications:Recent residency in hospital pharmacy is preferred. Active member of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists. Clinical pharmacy experience is preferred. Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) is preferred. Ability to perform duties as outlined on the Physical Demand Statement (PDS) for the position. Computer knowledge application to hospital pharmacy is essential.
