Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Licensed in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP). Fluency in the English language (both written and verbal). Computer literacy for drug information and word processing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced Prescribing Authorization (APA) designation. Authorization to administer drugs by injection. Current and ongoing direct patient care experience. Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment. Strong decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:Active CSHP membership. Completion of an Accredited Canadian Hospital Pharmacy Residency. Completion of an advanced degree in pharmacy practice. Certification as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE). Recent experience (past 12 months) in diabetes management, endocrinology, women’s health, and/or internal medicine practice areas. Recent experience (past 12 months) in an Ambulatory practice environment. Recent experience (past 12 months) serving as a preceptor to Pharmacy learners.
