Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

2 to 5 years of recent hospital experience. Advanced Prescribing Authority (APA). Computer literacy for drug information and work processing. Foothills Medical Centre Inpatient Pharmacy provides 24/7 services. Practice to expanded scope, including APA and lab ordering. Previous experience on a multi-disciplinary team. Recent direct patient care experience (at least 1 year within the last 3 years). Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to use evidence-based medicine in direct patient care. Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists (CSHP). Demonstrates good time management. Hospital residency is an asset. Motivated and self-directed for on-going continuing competence. Previous experience in Cardiology. Previous experience with training and precepting. Previous project experience and committee work.
