Additional Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to communicate (written, verbal and interpersonal and resource development). Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict and difficult conversations. Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources. Demonstrated critical thinking skills, including conceptual thinking, strategizing, and problem-solving. Demonstrated organizational skills and abilities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a variety of disciplines, sectors, and internal and external stakeholders/ partners. Ability to mobilize diverse groups and build consensus. Experience working with community-based organizations. Experience wayfinding and navigating complex health care environments. Ability to use Windows 10 -based computer and corresponding software is required (Microsoft 365, Publisher, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat.)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree/diploma/certificate in social work, counselling or other related discipline.Knowledge and expertise in LGBTQ2S+ populations and health promotion are an asset. One year or more experience working in sexual and reproductive health, health promotion, LGBTQ2S+ communities. Experience with program planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Experience working with diverse and marginalized populations. Experience in plain and inclusive writing for a public audience.
